This time, Vinicius's provocations targeted an Espanyol player.
Details: Today, Spanish journalists managed to decipher what Vinicius Junior said to Espanyol's Moroccan defender Omar El Hilali during the 34th round of La Liga.
According to Cadenaser, the controversial Brazilian launched a verbal barrage at El Hilali, even calling him an idiot:
"You'll ask me for my shirt on the street, but I won't give it to you. Stop being foolish, you're an idiot. Want to fight? If you want to play, let's play. You're going to get relegated to the Second Division," the Brazilian told the Moroccan.
Such episodes are nothing new for Vinicius. He has repeatedly found himself at the center of similar scandals—provoking opponents first, then complaining about being targeted himself.
Still, it seems Vinicius's tactics are paying off, as Real managed to beat Espanyol 2-0, with Vinicius himself bagging a brace.
Reminder: Real Madrid fans unhappy with Mbappé. What are they writing to the player in the comments?
