Real Madrid have taken their first step in shaping the squad for next season.
Details: According to Marca's José Félix Díaz, the Madrid club has notified Como of their decision to exercise the buy-back option for their academy product, Nico Paz.
The deal has reportedly been fully agreed and finalized, making the 21-year-old midfielder Los Blancos' first signing of the 2026 summer transfer window.
Paz's return to Madrid comes on the back of his impressive progress in Italy's Serie A, where he established himself as one of the league's most creative and technically gifted young players. This season, he featured in 37 matches for the Italian club across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 8 assists. Transfermarkt values the player at €65 million.
Reminder: Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé is furious about the situation at the club and blames his teammates for the season's failure.
