Yaya Touré set to become Slovan Bratislava’s new head coach
The Ivorian tactician and the Slovakian club are reportedly close to reaching an agreement.
Yaya Touré could be set to take a new step in his coaching career. The former Ivory Coast international is expected to take up the role of head coach for the first time since turning his hand to management. The Slovakian club, Slovan Bratislava, is said to be keen to entrust the former FC Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder with the reins of the first-team coaching staff according to Matte Moretto.
Talks are reportedly at an advanced stage and an official announcement is expected shortly. If the negotiations are successful, it would mark a major first for Yaya Touré at the helm of a first-team coaching staff. The Ivorian coach has previously held the position of assistant manager on several occasions.
