Yann Sommer could be heading to the Eredivisie
Ajax Amsterdam are reportedly making the Swiss goalkeeper their top priority this summer.
With his contract at Inter Milan officially expiring on 30 June, Yann Sommer could move to another European club. After three seasons in Italy’s Serie A, the 37-year-old Swiss goalkeeper could join the Dutch professional league, the Eredivisie.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ajax Amsterdam are keen to sign Yann Sommer, who is expected to be a free agent this summer. The Dutch club would like to make the Swiss goalkeeper their first-choice between the posts next season following Vitezslav Jaros’s return to Liverpool at the end of his loan spell.
However, no agreement has been announced as yet. As for the Nerazzurri, there are no signs of a potential contract extension for Yann Sommer either.
