The RB Leipzig striker has withdrawn through injury and will not be able to join Emerse Fae’s Ivory Coast squad.
The announcement was made by the Ivorian Football Federation. Although he was due to take part in the training camp during the FIFA window, Diomande has ultimately withdrawn. The 19-year-old Ivorian is suffering from a shoulder injury sustained on 20 March in a league match. Consequently, he will be unable to play in the two scheduled international friendlies against South Korea and Scotland.
