Yamal to Miss Barcelona's Upcoming Match Against Celta

The injury sustained by Barcelona star Lamine Yamal during the match against Red Star Belgrade has turned out to be more serious than initially expected. After missing the game against Real Sociedad, it was hoped he would return immediately following the international break. However, that will not be the case.

Details: According to Diario AS, optimism about Yamal’s return for Barcelona’s next match against Celta Vigo is low. The player is still recovering from an ankle injury, and the club is cautious about risking further aggravation. As a result, Yamal will not travel to Vigo for Saturday's game.

On a positive note, Robert Lewandowski, Eric García, and Héctor Fort have all recovered from their injuries and will be available for head coach Hansi Flick in the clash against Celta.

Reminder: Without Yamal, Barcelona suffered a 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad, ending a streak of 30 consecutive matches in which the team had scored.
