Key figures in Ivorian football have renewed their confidence in the outgoing president for the next four years.

Gathered at an elective general assembly this Saturday 12 September 2026 in Yamoussoukro, Ivorian football stakeholders unsurprisingly decided to re-elect Yacine Idriss Diallo as president of the Ivorian Football Federation. As the sole candidate, the outgoing president was re-elected to lead the governing body of Ivorian football for a further term.

He received 100% of the votes cast. Yacine Idriss Diallo, who has just completed a four-year term, will therefore continue to lead Ivorian football until 2030.

The re-elected president will continue to implement his programme for the benefit of Ivorian football. His previous term was marked by Ivory Coast’s victory at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. The Elephants also qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which was held this summer in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
