Yesterday, the head coach of Barcelona received a red card in the first half of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second-leg match against PSG. The Spanish coach was sent off in the 56th minute for excessive emotions.

This red card marked the third one in Xavi's relatively short coaching career. He received two dismissals as the head coach of Barcelona and another one while at Al-Sadd.

Interestingly, as a player, Xavi also received the exact same number of dismissals. Throughout his career, he played 928 matches.

It's worth noting that due to the red card, Xavi missed Barcelona's previous two matches in La Liga. However, he will be leading the team in the upcoming El Clasico.
