Xabi Alonso won't be out of work for long. Just days after leaving Real Madrid, the Spanish manager has already attracted interest from clubs in the English Premier League.
According to The Independent journalist Miguel Delaney, Alonso may continue his career in England. One of the main contenders for his appointment is London’s Tottenham, who are likely to part ways with Thomas Frank in the coming days.
It’s worth noting that after his departure from Real Madrid, the Spaniard is open to new projects, but he will make his final decision with several career options on the table.
In the current Premier League round, Spurs fell 2-1 to West Ham, conceding the decisive goal in stoppage time. Earlier, the team crashed out of the FA Cup after losing to Aston Villa, which has only increased the pressure on the club’s management.
