Wydad may change head coach. Former Orlando Pirates manager under consideration

Wydad recently took part in the Club World Cup, and the results were disappointing: three consecutive defeats and an early exit from the tournament. This may not be overlooked.
Details: According to Al-Akhbar, Wydad’s management is considering dismissing the current head coach and bringing in a replacement. Reports suggest the Moroccan club is eyeing former Orlando Pirates manager Josef Zinnbauer. He is currently in charge of JS Kabylie but has prior experience in the Moroccan league.
A few years ago, he managed another Casablanca-based club — Raja. Under his leadership, the team won the league title and the national cup. Wydad’s executives are impressed with Zinnbauer’s successful track record in Moroccan football.
Reminder: The reigning champions of South Africa are willing to let go of Thembinkosi Lorch — but only at an increased price. The initial asking price was set at €500,000, but Mamelodi Sundowns have since doubled it.
Lorch is currently on loan at Wydad Casablanca, and the Moroccan club is keen to secure him on a permanent deal.
