The WTA 250 series tournament is taking place this week in Nottingham, England. On Saturday, June 21, tennis fans were looking forward to the semifinals, but one of the matches has already been postponed for several hours.
McCartney Kessler (WTA 42) and Rebecca Sramkova (WTA 38) were scheduled to take the court at 3:30 p.m. Central European Time, but heavy rain in Nottingham is preventing the players from starting their match. The new start time remains unknown.
It is worth noting that the first semifinal was also interrupted earlier due to weather conditions. Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska defeated Magda Linette in straight sets and is now awaiting tomorrow's final.
