On Monday, April 8th, the second evening of WrestleMania 40 took place at the Lincoln Financial Field arena in Philadelphia. This day, the event was attended by 72,755 fans.

During this night, two new WWE champions were determined, with titles contested among both women and men. Io Shirai and Bayley competed for the women's championship. The title was captured by Bayley, making her the new WWE World Champion among women.

For the men's championship belt, Roman Reigns faced Cody Rhodes under the rules of the Bloodline. Cody Rhodes emerged victorious over his opponent, becoming the new undisputed world champion. Notably, Roman Reigns held the Universal title for 1,317 days (736 of them with the WWE title, unifying them) and entered the top four longest-reigning world champions in WWE history.

Additionally, during the final match, fans were treated to several surprises as The Rock, John Cena, and even The Undertaker made appearances in the ring.
