Fulham is preparing an ambitious move in the transfer market.
Details: According to The Athletic journalist Mario Cortegana, Fulham is already in talks to sign Real Madrid’s 22-year-old Spanish striker Gonzalo García.
The London club’s interest in the forward is linked to Álvaro Arbeloa. Fulham’s new head coach knows García well from their time together in Real Madrid’s system and is eager to strengthen the attack with his former protégé.
Financial details and the potential structure of the deal have yet to be disclosed. Negotiations continue over the Spaniard’s possible move to Craven Cottage.
It’s worth noting that last season Gonzalo García netted ten goals in 32 appearances under Arbeloa’s leadership.
