Wow! Kane responds to Yamal's bold Ballon d'Or remarks
Harry Kane has responded to Lamine Yamal's comments about the Ballon d'Or, making it clear that he prefers to let his performances on the pitch do the talking.
Details: According to journalist AZ Strasser, the Bayern Munich striker was asked about the Barcelona youngster's recent remarks concerning the Ballon d'Or race. Rather than engaging in a verbal battle with the Spaniard, the England captain delivered a calm response, explaining that he has no intention of promoting himself in public.

"I don't want to talk a lot about myself. I talk on the pitch. Everyone is different," Kane explained when asked about Yamal's statements.
The English forward also acknowledged the achievements of his rivals for the prestigious individual prize. He specifically praised both Yamal and his Bayern Munich teammate Michael Olise, while emphasizing that the final decision does not depend on him.
"Lamine Yamal had a great season, Michael Olise as well. The Ballon d'Or is not in my hands," Kane added.
The striker's comments come amid growing discussion surrounding the 2026 Ballon d'Or. Kane, Yamal and Olise are all among the 30 nominees for the award, with the winner set to be announced on October 26.
It's worth noting that Kane recently became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 100 goals, achieving the milestone in just 98 appearances. The Englishman scored twice in Bayern Munich's 7-0 victory over Union Berlin on September 18, taking his league tally to 101 goals.
