Wow! James Milner sets three Guinness records at once
Once again, Milner proves that age is just a number.
Details: On the official Guinness World Records page on X, it was announced that Brighton’s 40-year-old central midfielder James Milner has officially received three Guinness awards for his record-breaking achievements.
It all happened during the last round of the English Premier League, when Brighton faced Brentford. For Milner, this was a special match as he set the all-time Premier League appearance record—654 matches.
Milner also broke Guinness records in two more categories:
- The longest span between first and last goals scored in the Premier League (22 years, 248 days).
- The most consecutive seasons played in the Premier League (24).
This season, Milner has played 18 matches for Brighton, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist. His contract with the club runs until summer 2026, and his market value is estimated at €750,000 by Transfermarkt.
Reminder: A wonderful gesture! The team congratulated Milner on his incredible achievement.
