Wow! Everton could sign Barcelona's young talent
The La Masia graduate is attracting serious interest from clubs across England.
Details: According to MatchDay Central, Everton are currently leading the race to sign Barcelona right-back Hector Fort. Liverpool and Fulham are also interested in the Spaniard, but it's the Merseyside club who are considered the front-runners for his signature.
Last season, Fort spent his time on loan at Elche, where he contributed two goals and two assists. Now the 20-year-old has returned to Barcelona, but he is no longer part of Hansi Flick's plans for the new campaign.
Everton are looking to seize the moment and move to the front of the queue for the Spaniard's signature. Meanwhile, Liverpool and Fulham continue to monitor the right-back, so the race could heat up even further.
It's worth noting that Fort's contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt currently values the right-back at €12 million.
Reminder: Barcelona goes all in! After selling Torres, the Catalans are throwing everything at Rodri.
