The latest claim comes amid growing reports linking Gyokeres with a move to Barcelona. The Catalans have been assessing attacking options during the final weeks of the summer transfer window, and the Arsenal forward has emerged as one of the names under consideration.
Two days earlier, DailySports reported that Barcelona were expected to explore Gyokeres' situation after Ferran Torres' departure to Paris Saint-Germain. The Swedish striker was described as one of the club's main alternatives for strengthening the attacking line.
For now, Gyokeres remains an Arsenal player. He joined the London club from Sporting in the summer of 2025 and has a contract with the Gunners until June 2030.
It's worth noting that Gyokeres finished his debut season with Arsenal with 21 goals across all competitions, including 14 goals in 36 Premier League appearances. Transfermarkt currently values the 28-year-old striker at €65 million.
