Sorloth is making Turkish giants loosen their purse strings.

Details: Besiktas and Fenerbahce are showing serious interest in Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth. According to Diario AS, both Istanbul clubs are considering a move for the Norwegian forward.

Reports suggest Besiktas have already put a contract on the table for the 30-year-old striker, offering a net salary of €8 million per season. However, Sorloth’s camp is demanding an improved deal worth €10 million a year.

Even such a lucrative offer does not guarantee the Turkish clubs success in negotiations. For now, the striker himself prefers to continue his career outside of Turkey.

This means Besiktas and Fenerbahce will have to not only meet Sorloth’s financial demands but also convince him to turn down other career options.

It's worth noting that Sorloth has been playing for Atletico since 2024, with his contract in Madrid running until the summer of 2028. The Norwegian previously had a successful spell in Turkey with Trabzonspor. Transfermarkt values the striker at €18 million.

Reminder: €500 million or nothing! Atlético lays down impossible terms for Barcelona on Álvarez.
