"Would be surprised to see him in the national team squad". Slot spoke out about Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool secured a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in their Premier League Matchday 11 clash.
However, the first half brought an unwelcome development for manager Arne Slot. Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was forced to leave the pitch due to an injury.
Today, the head coach of the Merseyside club provided an update on the defender’s condition.
Quote: “I’d be surprised to see him in the England squad. It’s always serious when a player asks to come off in the first half. He requested the substitution himself, which is never a good sign. It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly it is, especially with the next match so close,” the coach said, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Reminder: Following their victory over Aston Villa, Slot’s side has extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to five points, maintaining a confident grip on first place.
