Worst predictions confirmed. Aston Villa defender to miss Euro 2024

Poland's head coach Michał Probierz will have to do without his main right-back at the UEFA Euro 2024, who will miss the continental championship due to health problems.

According to TVP Sport, Kadra will be travelling to the tournament without Aston Villa's Matty Cash, who has not fully healed his calf muscle injury, through which he missed the Villans' final two games of the season.

Earlier there was still hope that the 26-year-old defender would play in Germany, but the Poland manager emphasised that the doctors will make the final decision. Cash suffered an injury in Kadra's match, leaving the field early in the semi-final play-off match for the Euros against Estonia (5:1).

Recall that, according to the Polish media, the preliminary bid of the Polish national team for the European Championship will be announced on 29 May.
