World No. 1 faces No. 2: The men's Roland Garros finalists are set

On Friday, June 6, the two men's singles semifinals unfolded at the prestigious Roland Garros tournament, revealing the names of this year's finalists.
In the first semifinal, Italy's Lorenzo Musetti faced Carlos Alcaraz. Musetti clinched the opening set, taking a 1-0 lead in sets, but then dropped the next two. During the fourth set, Lorenzo experienced pain and declared he could not continue, handing the victory—and a place in the final—to Carlos Alcaraz, the world No. 2 from Spain.
The second semifinal saw world No. 1 Jannik Sinner go head-to-head with Novak Djokovic. The match was a tough battle for both players, but the Italian managed to tip the scales in his favor. He secured the first set 6-4, then closed out the next two sets 7-5 and 7-6, sealing the tiebreak 7-3.
As a result, the final will feature a thrilling clash between the world’s top two players—Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. The championship match is scheduled for Sunday, June 8, with play starting at 15:00 Central European Time.
