In the German Ruhpolding today, the women's pursuit race took place. It's worth noting that this race was the final one in the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup.

Italian biathlete Lisa Vittozzi had an excellent race and finished just 0.7 seconds ahead of Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold at the finish. Interestingly, this victory marked Vittozzi's first in the current season. Joining them on the podium was another Norwegian, Juni Arnekleiv, who didn't make any shooting mistakes but was slower than her competitors.
