The next World Cup kicks off in the summer of 2026, but preparations and promotional campaigns are already underway.
Details: FIFA and renowned construction-toy brand LEGO have unveiled a new set dedicated to the upcoming World Cup — a model of the tournament’s iconic trophy. It will go on sale in March 2026 and will cost 200 dollars.
By the way, President Donald Trump is set to be presented with the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize during the draw ceremony. FIFA plans to present this award annually for contributions to peace.
The draw itself will take place on Friday, December 5, at 18:00 Central European Time. The event will be held in Washington, D.C.
Reminder: The 2026 World Cup has already seen a ticket scandal: due to FIFA commissions, ticket prices have soared to £1,000, with the final match ticket listed at £33,000.
