Barcelona's first-choice goalkeeper, Marc-André ter Stegen, has shared an update on his rehabilitation process following a severe injury.
Details: According to the German shot-stopper, he has already started recovery exercises and remains optimistic about his progress.
Quote: "I’m doing fine, and I’ve started the recovery process with a smile. I know the road ahead is long, but with good people around, it becomes easier. Right now, I’m enjoying spending time with my family," ter Stegen was quoted as saying by Fabrizio Romano.
Reminder: Ter Stegen suffered a serious injury during Matchday 6 of the 2024/25 La Liga season in the Villarreal vs. Barcelona game (1-5). The goalkeeper underwent surgery in September and began a lengthy rehabilitation process.
In response to his absence, Barcelona signed Wojciech Szczęsny, who decided to come out of retirement to join the Catalan club and cover for the German until the end of the season.
