Today, it was announced that Orlando Pirates have strengthened their coaching staff.
Details: According to Sinethemba Makonko, the Buccaneers have signed biokineticist Dylan Cox from Sekhukhune United.
Biokinetics is an interdisciplinary field that studies the patterns of movement and changes in biological systems, both at the macro and micro levels. More specifically, Dylan Cox will be responsible for physical rehabilitation and sports science, as well as assessing and treating movement disorders related to injuries and illnesses.
This move is expected to reduce the number of injuries for the Pirates in the new season and also speed up the recovery process for players who end up in the treatment room.
