Women's golf tournament at the 2024 Olympics: what you need to know


The women's golf tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games will take place from August 7th to August 10th at Le Golf National.
Tournament Format
The competition will feature 60 female golfers. This decision was made by the official world ranking of the International Golf Federation on June 24th. Notably, the top 15 positions at the Games will be allocated a maximum of four players per National Olympic Committee.
The first round will commence on Wednesday, August 7th, at 09:00 Central European Time. All rounds will start on the same day, with four rounds in total, culminating in the final round on Saturday, August 10th.

The women's golf tournament will be broadcast in over 200 countries. In the United States, viewers can tune in on NBC and the streaming service Peacock. In the United Kingdom, coverage will be provided by BBC and Discovery+.
It is worth noting that on Sunday, August 4th, the final round of the men's competition concluded with Scottie Scheffler of the USA being crowned Olympic champion.
