Wolfsburg is ahead of top clubs in bid for Real Madrid legend's son

Wolfsburg is close to buying Argentinos Juniors' top talent Federico Redondo, according to TyC Sports.

The German club is ready to pay €10 million, which are demanded by Argentinos Juniors, for the 20-year-old centre midfielder. The player is also claimed by Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid, but none of them have guaranteed the player a place in the first team, because of which he chose Wolfsburg.

Federico Redondo is the son of Real Madrid legend Fernando Redondo, who played for Madrid from 1994 to 2000. Redondo Sr. played in the same position and managed to play 228 matches for Madrid.

In the completed season, Federico Redondo was a non-alternative base player for Argentinos Juniors. On his account 58 matches, 2 goals and 2 assists.
