Inter Miami played another MLS regular season match. On the night of Thursday, June 20, the team faced off against Columbus Crew.
Despite the absence of their two stars, Messi and Suárez, who are currently away on international duty, Inter Miami still secured a win. Ian Fray opened the scoring in the tenth minute, putting the hosts ahead. A few minutes later, Inter doubled their lead with a goal from Campana.
Towards the end of the first half, Columbus Crew reduced the deficit, but after the break, Miami defended well and prevented their opponents from scoring an equalizing goal. Inter Miami won 2-1 and continues to lead the Eastern Conference with 41 points from 20 matches.
