Former Chelsea and Arsenal player, now Flamengo midfielder, Jorginho has issued a scathing public statement following an incident at a São Paulo hotel during the Lollapalooza festival.
Details: The footballer revealed that his wife, Catherine Harding, and 11-year-old daughter, Ada Low, were subjected to unjustified hostility from the team of American singer Chappell Roan. According to Jorginho, his daughter, a devoted fan of the artist, had even prepared a special poster for the performance, but a chance encounter at breakfast turned into a nightmare.

Reports say the conflict sparked out of nowhere: Ada simply walked past the singer's table to make sure it was really her idol, smiled, and returned to her mother. She didn't ask for a photo or try to speak to the star. However, moments later, a large security guard from the singer's team approached their table and, in an extremely aggressive manner, berated the family, accusing the 11-year-old of disrespect and harassment towards the artist.
“I've spent many years in the world of sports and public life—I know perfectly well what boundaries are. But here, there was no crossing of any boundaries; it was just a child who admired her idol,” the outraged father stated on his social media.
Jorginho emphasized that the actions of the security team were absolutely disproportionate, pushing the child to a state of hysteria. The security guard even threatened to file an official complaint to the hotel administration against the footballer's family, while the girl was left in tears at the dining table.
