The WTA Finals 2024 are ongoing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The singles group stage is nearing its end, and the playoff stage participants have now been determined.

Details: The last semi-finalist was Barbora Krejčíková, who managed to beat Coco Goff in a difficult match in the third round of the group stage. Two tennis players - Iga Swietek and Barbora Krejcikova - competed for this place.

The Polish tennis player confidently beat Kasatkina, losing only one game to her opponent - 6:1, 5:0. Kasatkina had stepped in as an emergency replacement for Jessica Pegula, who withdrew from the tournament.

However, this was not enough to make it to the semi-finals. Barbora Krejcikova defeated Coco Goff 0-2 (5-7, 4-6) to become a semi-finalist in the tournament.
