Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez is all smiles as he gears up for the return leg against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals. The footballer shared several snapshots from the team's training session yesterday on his Instagram story.
In one of the photos, Lautaro and Marcus Thuram can be seen smiling, appearing relaxed and confident ahead of the upcoming match.
It's worth recalling that in the first leg in Munich, the Italians managed to snatch a 1-2 victory, significantly boosting their chances of reaching the semi-finals. Now, they simply need to avoid losing at home to achieve their coveted goal. Although it's clear that this won't be easy, as Bayern, despite numerous injuries, remains a formidable opponent.
It was Lautaro who scored the first goal against Bayern with a magnificent strike. In total, he has played 42 matches for Inter Milan this season, scoring 20 goals and providing 6 assists.
Inter is also performing very well in Italy's Serie A. The Milan team currently leads, holding a 3-point advantage over their main rival Napoli.
