Świątek once again defeated Sabalenka in the final, securing her fourth title of the year
Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka faced each other again in the final match of the prestigious WTA tournament on clay courts, held in Rome, Italy. Two weeks ago, the women shared the court in the deciding match in Madrid, with the Polish tennis player celebrating victory in three sets.
Seeking revenge, Sabalenka completely faltered in the first set. Aryna twice surrendered her serve to her opponent and lost the set 2-6 in just over half an hour. The second set saw much more intense competition. The crucial moment came during Sabalenka's serve at 3-3. Swiatek broke her opponent and confidently sealed the match victory thereafter.
