Chelsea sought to rectify their unfavorable position in the league standings in an away match against Brentford, as part of the 27th round of the Premier League.

The aristocrats enjoyed a certain gameplay advantage in the first half and logically went into halftime with a narrow lead. Senegalese forward Nicolas Jackson put the Blues ahead. Interestingly, this goal marked his eighth in the Premier League this season.

From the outset of the second half, Mauricio Pochettino's game plan began to falter. The hosts equalized in the 50th minute through Mads Rasmussen. Just moments later, the Bees had a superb opportunity to take the lead, but Vitaly Janelt's shot hit the crossbar of Georgie Petrovich's goal.

However, Brentford managed to score again at the juncture of the 69th and 70th minutes. Yoane Wissa's beautiful scissor-kick goal dismayed Petrovich and sent the stands into raptures.

Then it seemed that Chelsea might falter and concede a third. However, to the credit of the Aristocrats, they weathered the storm and equalized. Axel Disasi's precise header from Cola Palmer's delivery restored parity.

Chelsea remained in 11th place in the Premier League with 36 points, while Brentford sits in 15th place with 26 points.
