Two Premier League heavyweights are preparing for a blockbuster South American transfer tussle in the winter window.

Details: According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, Chelsea and Manchester United are closely monitoring the form and development of Palmeiras forward Vitor Roque as both English clubs explore attacking additions for January. Neither side has lodged an official formal offer just yet, but both recruitment departments are actively gathering scouting reports on the 21-year-old Brazilian striker.

The Brazilian club is fully aware of the mounting European interest and has established firm financial terms. Palmeiras could demand between €50 million and €60 million, alongside substantial performance-related add-ons and a sell-on clause, before sanctioning any mid-season departure for their attacking jewel.

Both the Blues and the Red Devils are seeking to inject lethal finishing and dynamic movement into their frontline ranks, viewing Roque's technical sharpness and physical intensity as an ideal long-term asset for the Premier League.

It is worth noting that according to Transfermarkt, the 21-year-old Brazilian forward's current market value stands at €38 million.
