Wimbledon is in for some revolutionary changes next year. What are they?


Significant changes are on the horizon for Wimbledon next year, as announced by the official website of the tennis tournament.
Details: The All England Club and the Championships' Management Committee today revealed two operational updates ahead of the 138th edition of the tournament.
One key change involves the introduction of the electronic line-calling system, Hawk-Eye Live. For the first time in the 147-year history of the tournament, Wimbledon will do away with line judges.
Additionally, the preliminary schedule for the championship has been adjusted: the finals for the men's and women's doubles will start at 1:00 PM local time, followed by the finals for the women's and men's singles at 4:00 PM.
Reminder: Wimbledon 2025 is scheduled to take place from June 30 to July 13, 2025.
