Details: According to The Telegraph, Tottenham’s board continues its efforts to find the right candidate for the head coach position. Among the frontrunners is Italian tactician Roberto De Zerbi.

The Spurs have already held preliminary talks with De Zerbi and were reportedly pleased with the outcome. If appointed, De Zerbi would take the reins this summer. However, there is a crucial condition: if Tottenham are relegated to the Championship, De Zerbi will turn down the offer.

For the record, the Italian’s previous club was Marseille, from which he was dismissed in early February after a heavy 0-5 defeat to PSG.
