Will it affect his driving? Lewis Hamilton's beloved dog seriously ill
Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton received some unfortunate news from home—Kirstin MacMillan, the trainer and caretaker of his dog Roscoe, reported the pet's poor condition, according to the Daily Mail.
According to her, Hamilton's beloved pet has come down with pneumonia, prompting her to take him to the vet for necessary treatment. She also mentioned that the doctor prescribed the dog strong antibiotics for pneumonia, and as supportive therapy, the vet will perform acupuncture and administer intravenous vitamin C.
It's worth noting that Hamilton took custody of the French bulldog Roscoe in 2013. The Briton is very attached to his pet and often takes him along on his travels and photographs with him.
Understandably, with this news, many are concerned about how it will affect Hamilton's performance on the track. This weekend, the next Formula 1 Grand Prix stage is set to take place in Saudi Arabia.
Since his move to Ferrari, Lewis is still seeking consistency. Currently, he stands in 7th place in the Formula 1 standings with 25 points.
