Will he play at Wimbledon? Surgeon who performed the operation - about Djokovic's recovery period

Surgeon Antoine Gerometta, who performed arthroscopic surgery on Novak Djokovic's right knee, is not sure the Serb will make a full recovery in time for the Wimbledon tournament.
"Only by gradually increasing the load will we understand if swelling and pain will appear. There will be progress every day, but it's impossible to predict how he will feel in a week, two weeks and beyond. It's unlikely he'll be fully recovered in three weeks.
He will obviously do everything to recover as quickly as possible, but the process will be monitored and controlled,” Gerometta said.
Wimbledon 2024 will begin on July 1. Novak needs to defend his points from last year's final at the British major.
Novak withdrew from Roland Garros 2024 after making it to the ¼ final.
