Levi Colwill has yet to make an appearance for Chelsea this season after suffering a serious cruciate ligament injury during pre-season training. However, recent updates suggest encouraging progress.

Details: According to Kieran Gill, the defender’s recovery is going very well and remains on track. He has been walking without crutches for a month and continues his rehabilitation. There’s now a real possibility that Colwill could return to action before the end of the season.

As previously reported, Cole Palmer is also close to resuming training with Chelsea. He hopes to be fit for the matches against Barcelona and Arsenal, though the coaching staff are not planning to rush his comeback.

Chelsea’s next match is on Saturday, November 22, away at Burnley. The game against Barcelona is scheduled for November 25, and the clash with Arsenal for November 30.

Reminder: 27-year-old French defender Axel Disasi decided to leave Chelsea after learning he would not receive sufficient playing time.
