Will he be retired? Real Madrid decides Ancelotti's future
Real Madrid has struggled to meet expectations this season, with their lackluster performances leading to disappointing results on the field. As a consequence, club president Florentino Pérez has made the decision to dismiss head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Details: According to El Gol, the club is set to officially announce the termination of the contract with the 65-year-old Italian coach in the near future. It is expected that Santiago Solari will take over, as previously reported. Solari is expected to manage the team until the end of the season, after which Xabi Alonso will reportedly become the permanent head coach.
Reminder: Carlo Ancelotti took charge of Real Madrid in 2021 and won 13 trophies, including three UEFA Champions League titles.
