Will Cameroon Midfielder Carlos Baleba’s Manchester United Dream Become Reality? Latest Transfer Update

Manchester United are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion for the transfer of Cameroon international Carlos Baleba.

According to an exclusive report from David Ornstein, United have submitted an offer worth around £60 million (€70m/$81m), with a further £5 million in potential add-ons. The bid is believed to be below Brighton’s valuation, but talks between the two clubs remain positive.

United have maintained an interest in Baleba for more than a year, having been in regular contact with Brighton since last summer. The midfielder has also reportedly been keen on a move to Old Trafford since the Red Devils first expressed interest in him.

The 22-year-old is currently recovering from an ankle ligament injury, although the problem is not considered serious and is not expected to keep him sidelined for an extended period.

Baleba has remained one of United’s priority targets this summer and could become their third midfield signing, following the arrivals of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.
