Wife of Real Madrid star criticizes Carlo Ancelotti's tactical decisions

Mina Bonino, the wife of Federico Valverde, believes that her husband is being played out of position on the field, as she shared on her X (formerly Twitter) account.

Later, posts criticizing Ancelotti were deleted from her profile, and she claimed her account had been hacked.

"I’d better stay quiet so they don’t put me in jail. Fede is most effective in the center of the field and when breaking up attacks. When will they finally realize that Fede is not a winger?" Bonino wrote in a social media post on X.

Her strong reaction was sparked by a Champions League match in which Madrid were meekly defeated 1-3 at home by Italian side Milan. Valverde was substituted at halftime during this encounter.

This season, Real Madrid have been far from their best form: in La Liga, the team trails Barcelona by 9 points, and in the Champions League, they sit just 18th in the standings.

It’s worth noting that before the start of the new season, Valverde switched from the number 15 shirt to the number 8, which had been worn by the retired Toni Kroos.

The Uruguayan also recently claimed 17th place in the Ballon d'Or rankings.
