In the second semi-final, Novak Djokovic played against Jannik Sinner. The Italian twice took the lead during the match, going up 1–0 and 2–1. However, the Serb managed to turn the tide of the contest. He claimed the fourth and fifth sets by identical scores of 6–4.
Thus, in the final of the Australian Open 2026, we will see a clash between world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and world No. 4 Novak Djokovic. The match will take place on Sunday, 1 February.
