Who will be the best? France Football's Club of the Year nominees announced
On 28 October at the Théâtre de Châtelet in Paris, the prestigious awards in the world of football according to France Football magazine will be presented, but first the list of contenders has been determined. Among them - for the title of ‘Club of the Year’.
Experts have identified five European men's clubs that will compete for this title, these are:
- Borussia Dortmund (Germany)
- Girona (Spain)
- Bayer Leverkusen (Germany)
- Real Madrid (Spain)
- Manchester City (England)
Recall that the award for the best club in the world was first presented in 2021. Now it remains in England, because the three previous titles were received by English clubs.
In 2021, the best club was Chelsea, and in 2022 and 2023 the award remained in Manchester City.
Earlier, it became known who will claim the title of best young player of the year, and also announced the shortlist for the Lev Yashin award, which was given to the best goalkeeper of the year.
