The fifth round of the group stage of the Europa League took place on Thursday.
Dailysports.net has a look at who's already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
Thus, 14 clubs made it to the next stage of the tournament.
“Liverpool”, “Atalanta” and “Bayer” made it directly round of 8, and won their groups. At the same time, “Sporting” was guaranteed to become second in its group and made it to the round of 16. Feyenoord and Young Boys, who took third place in the Champions League group, will play from the same stage.
Brighton, Freiburg, Marseille, Rennes, Roma, Slavia, Villarreal and West Ham United will definitely play in the Europa League playoffs. However, in their case, it is not yet clear from what stage they will continue their journey in the tournament.
It is reasonable to remind that the last round of the group stage will take place on December 14.
