Sabalenka received a special gift from a Manchester United legend ahead of the start of Wimbledon. The world No. 1 was a guest at an exclusive Audemars Piguet luxury watch event held in anticipation of the grass-court Grand Slam tournament.

During the event, the world’s top-ranked player was presented with a Manchester United jersey. The gift was handed to her personally by former defender and club icon Rio Ferdinand.

As a reminder, Wimbledon 2025 kicks off on June 30. In the opening round, the Belarusian will face Canadian tennis player Carson Branstine. Notably, Sabalenka has yet to win this tournament in her career. Her best results are semifinal appearances in 2021 and 2023.
