Following FIFA's official voting guidelines, Mohamed Salah, the captain of the Egyptian national team and a star for Liverpool, announced his selections for the FIFA The Best Awards.
Salah selected Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior as his top choice, according to a FIFA statement that revealed the votes of national team coaches and captains.
Vinícius Júnior went on to win the Best Men’s Player Award during the ceremony held on Tuesday evening in Doha, Qatar.

Meanwhile, Egypt’s head coach, Hossam Hassan, cast his vote differently. He selected Manchester City’s midfield maestro Rodri as his first choice, followed by Vinícius Júnior in second place, and Real Madrid’s rising star Jude Bellingham in third.
