The computerized system of the BoxRec portal has released its ranking of the greatest heavyweight boxers in history.
The system awarded the top spot to the legendary Muhammad Ali. Joe Louis occupies the second position, while Ezzard Charles completes the top three.
Interestingly, the current undisputed heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, is ranked only 25th in the list.
The legendary Evander Holyfield is placed 22nd, and Mike Tyson, surprisingly, is ranked 34th by BoxRec.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that Saudi Arabia is planning to create its own high-profile boxing league, with an estimated project cost of $4-5 billion. The league could be launched as early as 2025, with fight cards primarily featuring heavyweight bouts.
