Where Is Osimhen? Fans Question Star Striker’s Absence from Super Eagles Camp

Nigerian fans have been left puzzled after star striker Victor Osimhen was missing from the latest Super Eagles squad update. The team announced on social media that “21 players” were now in camp, but supporters quickly noticed Osimhen’s name was not included.

The Galatasaray forward played a crucial role in Nigeria’s World Cup qualifying run, scoring a hat-trick in their vital 4-0 win over Benin in October. That victory helped Nigeria edge Benin to a play-off spot behind South Africa.

The Super Eagles are now set to face Gabon in the semi-finals, before a potential clash with Cameroon or DR Congo in the final. The winner will progress to the inter-confederation play-offs for a place at next year’s World Cup.

Osimhen was listed in the original squad, but his current absence remains unexplained.
