Where Every Team Stands Heading Into Round 3 of the Jägermeister Cup

The third round of the USL Jägermeister Cup is here, and with it comes the possibility of teams punching their ticket to the knockout stage. As outlined by USLsoccer.com, four clubs—Sacramento Republic, Indy Eleven, Rhode Island FC, and Loudoun United—remain perfect and could secure advancement this weekend.
Group 1 is still wide open with Sacramento and Monterey Bay leading the pack, while Las Vegas remains alive with one game left. Orange County SC could be eliminated with another loss, as they face Sacramento on Saturday.
In Group 2, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, and New Mexico United are in a tight race. Phoenix, El Paso, and Texoma still have paths to the quarterfinals depending on results. Group 3’s key clash comes Saturday between Indy and Birmingham—whoever wins in regulation moves on.
Rhode Island and Hartford are in control in Group 4, though Portland and Detroit could still shake things up. In Group 5, Loudoun can seal top spot with a regulation win over Charlotte. Finally, in Group 6, Miami FC leads with five points, but all but Charleston Battery remain in contention as the group nears its finale.
